Matt. 28.19-20<\/li>\n<li>We emphasize Men to be disciplers for Christ. 2 Tim. 2.2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"owc-section-page \" data-up=\"&#9658;\" data-down=\"&#9660;\"><div class=\"owc-sp-open \"><h2><span class=\"owc-sp-toggle-arrow\">&#9658;<\/span> Our Vision is that the Men of God become fully devoted followers of Christ.<\/h2><\/div><div class=\"owc-sp-content \"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Question: <\/strong>What&#8217;s the main goal of Men&#8217;s Ministry?<br \/>\n<strong>Answer: <\/strong>To develop godly leaders in their home, church, work, and world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Question: <\/strong>Why all the attention to Men&#8217;s Ministry?<br \/>\n<strong>Answer: <\/strong>Because men are islands, caught up in careers and family. Time needs to be made for God and learning His will for our lives.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Mission<\/strong><strong> Statement <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>The mission of the Men&#8217;s Ministry\u00a0at NWCC is to provide men with the resources to develop Godly character and\u00a0help equip them to influence their world for Jesus Christ.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Biblical principles which we will not compromise but will use to define our ministry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>We Value Servant Leadership<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nMatt. 20:26, Col. 3:17, Eph. 4:2,16; 5:1,25 &#8211; Giving of ourselves to meet the needs of others is our response to God&#8217;s mercy and grace. A servant&#8217;s spirit should be evident in all believers, especially those in leadership.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>We Value Clear Communication<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nEph. 4:15, 29 &#8211; The Church, like the human body depends on all its parts working together. Loving and honest communication is required among all believers together.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>We Value The Home As The Little Church<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n1 Tim. 3.5 True leadership must be demonstrated in the home before it is established in the church.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>We Value Relationships<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>We Value Family<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nEph. 5:21-6:4 &#8211; Families, growing God&#8217;s way, are essential to individual stability and to the health of the Church &#8211; both present and future.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">4 Key Ideas to Keep in Mind:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>A successful men&#8217;s ministry will be built on these cornerstones:<br \/>\n<\/strong>The senior pastor&#8217;s enthusiastic support, a man passionate about reaching other men, a committed leadership team, and the right strategy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Be purpose driven rather than event driven.<br \/>\n<\/strong>Men want to be a part of something larger than themselves. Often men don&#8217;t come to our events because they don&#8217;t see any larger purpose. Make sure that every event you schedule clearly serves your overall purpose.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Be relationship based rather than task oriented.<br \/>\n<\/strong>Most long-term change takes place in the context of church-based relationships. Events attract men, relationships make them stick. Give men plenty of opportunities for fellowship and conversation. The relationship is the task.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Make disciples and pray for workers.<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Bible tells us, &#8220;Go and make disciples\u2026baptizing them.&#8221; Often we get this confused with, &#8220;Go and make workers\u2026 browbeating them.&#8221; Too often we set the agenda for our ministry and then pester men to be involved. Instead, we ought to make disciples and then pray that God leads them to a place of service.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&#8220;However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me &#8211; the task of testifying to the Gospel of God&#8217;s grace.&#8221; Acts 20:24 (NIV)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saved by the TRUTH <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&lt;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;&gt; <\/span><\/strong><strong>Present the Gospel<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Grow in the TRUTH <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&lt;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;&gt;<\/span><\/strong> <strong>Relationships<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Stand in the TRUTH <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&lt;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&gt;<\/span><\/strong> <strong>Learn and train<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Speak the TRUTH <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&lt;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-&gt; <\/span><\/strong><strong>Spiritual Maturity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"owc-section-page \" data-up=\"&#9658;\" data-down=\"&#9660;\"><div class=\"owc-sp-open \"><h2><span class=\"owc-sp-toggle-arrow\">&#9658;<\/span> Section: Past\u00a0MEN&#8217;S MINISTRY EVENTs <\/h2><\/div><div class=\"owc-sp-content \"><\/p>\n<h3>MEN&#8217;S MINISTRY EVENT &#8211; <a title=\"Man Up!
